  IMG_1847.JPG - Here we see clearly that the pinchweld had no sealant along the lower edge. Actually, getting sealant there is  impossible unless it's applied to the gasket beforehand, which would create a terrible mess while using the "rope pull" method of setting the glass/gasket assembly into the car. The alternative is to fill the gap between the gasket and body once the assembly is in place. Not what jaguar intended, but probably the best idea for a water tight seal.
