IMG_1844.JPG - The auto glass tech from Brundige Glass in Brea, CA, used a utility knife with a very long grip handle to slice through the old gasket. The blade is slipped between the glass and gasket for the cut. Although I believe my old gasket was good and could have been reused, the tech didn't want to risk breaking the glass. The shop told me about this up front, so I was able to order the new gasket in advance. It cost about $65 from a trusted Jag parts supplier, Exotic Car Parts in Upland CA.
